Redshift Music Society is pleased to announce the release of its fifth CD, Vox Terra — the brainchild of Canadian clarinetist Cris Inguanti. Inguanti is assistant principal clarinet and bass clarinet with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, and one of Canada's most respected musicians. Inguanti spent most of 2007/08 exploring the most recent solo and chamber repertoire for his instrument — the result of this exploration is VOX TERRA: Music for the Clarinet with a Global Focus. On October 17th Inguanti, along with fellow musicians Corey Hamm (piano), Todd Cope (clarinet) and Luke Kim (cello), will share his findings with us. They'll present a cosmopolitan feast of music including works by Joan Tower, Leonard Bernstein, Michael Tenzer and Jeffrey Ryan.

Everyone receives a FREE copy of the VOX TERRA CD with the price of admission.

Join us in the hushed intimacy of the Jazz Cellar, enjoy great food and drink, listen to some of the coolest music written in the last thirty years, performed by some of Vancouver's greatest artists (and take the music home with you afterward!).
