The show was an auspicious episode for the group to make their eighth appearance, following the Associated Press and other news outlets projecting that former Vice President Joe Biden won the 2020 election. are not yet set in stone, but given SNLhistory of criticizing President Donald Trump, it naturally became the centerpiece of the episode.
